rhetoric and hope prevail

Barack Obama created history on 4Th of November 2008 by becoming the first African American President of the United States of America. President Barack Obama posted a thumping victory over his opponent Senator John McCain of Arizona for the highest office in the country. With a democratic majority in the house and Senate and more than 3.1 million dedicated Obamaniacs, Barack Obama would be one the most powerful Presidents this country has ever seen. This combination creates a lobby so powerful that the traditional lobbyists have already started packing their bags from Washington.

His opponent Senator John McCain gave one of the most gracious concession speeches in modern times. Faced with what one can easily call one of the most challenging campaigns in recent political history, John McCain tried to overcome the greatest odds posed to him - the most unfavorable and disapproved President(George W Bush), an economy on the brink of a recession and a prolonged war. But, the citizens of the United States of America had a different preference and chose Barack Obama as the 44Th President of the United State of America.

Congratulations to President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.
